Blender UV practice

One of the things I really no like about doing a model is the UV unwrap, I was watching a tutorial, and learn that blender have a live unwrap function, meaning the UV map change every time a seam is add to the model. So I decide to test doing a simple model, tho the tutorial made my head hurt is a good tutorial but some stuff in the video I do it different. this is the 4 or 6 basketball I try to do lol.  the checker texture comes with blender, in the picture is scale to 80. i no see any stretching on the texture.
