Disclaimer: I did not take these pictures, I was sent them in an e-mail I have no idea where they are from or who took them.
2) Ok this is the first time I have ever put up a picture.
I mostly stick with literature. But I got this e-mail from my grandparents and I just died laughing.
I knew I had to put this up, or at least try I wasn’t sure it was gonna work.

It’s literally a 'church signs' debate, being played out between the Catholic Church and a (fundamentalist) Presbyterian church. From top to bottom shows you the response and counter-response over time.
The Presbyterians are taking this way too seriously.
Someone said this reminds them of an old 'Will Rogers' quote: "If they don't allow dogs in heaven - I want to go where the dogs go."

Oh dear... I hate it when some religious people are so intent on humans being special. I know humans are not the same as animals, but animals do have souls. This is what I believe.
In the Bible, the word soul has various meanings. One means breath and literally means lifeforce. All living beings have it, including animals.
Another meaning is the immortal spirit, which most people think of when they use the word soul.
While it's true that the Bible says nothing about the afterlife of animals, it also doesn't flat out say that animals have no afterlife at all. The way I see it is that animals, being God's creations, are just as loved by their creator, as we humans, the only difference being that God does not love us quite as much if we misbehave, because we should know better than that.
But this is funny. If this billboard-battle really happened, then it's a real kneeslapper. XD

erytiion' mean?I'm actually making a ref page about it but basically it's based on my favorite mythical creature the "peryton". It's a beautiful winged deer that casts a human shadow, and the only way for the deer to be rid of the human shadow is to kill a human and bathe in its blood. Apparently, legend has it that the peryton was responsible for the fall of Rome. If you can imagine an enormous flock of beautiful winged deer, rageful with bloodlust, destroying entire cities. o_o;; Other people say they are the manifestation of people who died far from home.
It's very little known, but I find it fascinating. Sadly someone already took the name peryton as a username, so I simply added too I's. :c Damn you
