Maritime Horror: Adaro

Here´s the next creature in my Maritime Horror Series! Let´s take a look at the Adaro from the Solomon Islands, an evil water spirit that kills people by shooting flying fish at them. He is considered to be extremely dangerous and evil, since he embodies the worst part of the human soul. It is believed, that the good part of a person dies and vanishes after death, while the bad part takes the form of an Adaro. These creatures are believed to have a merman-like form with fins instead of feet, the dorsal fin of a shark on the middle of their heads and the horn of a swordfish growing out of their forehead. They can travel in rainbows and rainstorms to find and reach new victims.
