Grass tutorial

Done in Paint Tool SAI and Adobe Photoshop

Step 1- Base color

Step 2- Use the second base color, It's okay to have only two, we will smudge them together

Step 3- Use this brush, with my setting, and "smudge: the grass, from dark color to the light one, and the opposite.  The arrows shows my directions.

Step 4- Use normal sharp brush, and add a little details, add more blades of grass. You can add many new blades ass possible, you can switch the colors again.

Step 5- Add details on the main blades. It will made them look more 3D, it will not be so flat anymore.

Step 6- Add some dots, it will be more realistic, the docs are like little leaves of different kind of plants, you can make them even colorful.  They can be like little flowers.

Step 7 - On step 7 you can notice I outlined the grass in front. Use lighter color. It will really pop.

Step 8 - I added more dots but now in colors. You can be more precise if you want more defined flowers.

Step 9 - This step is made in Adobe Photoshop. I darked the sides of the whole picture (darkening tool) . The plants in front are made by whole brush (premade plants). The brush is made by me, I will upload this brush here so u can download it. I blurred the plants in foreground to add more depth.

Step 10. Is done in Paint tool SAI - Create new layer with SHINE setting, select some orange colors, and pick a very soft brush, you can now add a little reys of the sun.

Step 11. It's the same step like step 10, but this time use sharp brush with density setting 50%.  Add some lens flares, you have it on different layer so you can delete the shape of the flare (circle) to have like a moon shape.
