Professor Layton, a True Gentleman

This is something I have been working on for a while now. Even though Layton games have been around for a few years, I have only recently discovered them. I have yet to create some decent fan art so I thought I would start with one of my favorite mediums. This quote came from the second game (The Diabolical Box) and is one of the phrases Layton says when you solve a puzzle. This pattern I hand-sketched so if enough people like it, I can post the how to and color of the thread I used so you can make your own. In the true puzzle fashion of Layton, everything in this picture is important, including the puzzle pieces. Each one can come together to create a 3x3 multicolored square.

Set it for the coolest cotton setting. Iron it with the design facing down (some people will put a hand towel or some such over the fabric to further protect it but I found the last piece I ironed didn't require it). Iron in quick strokes; don't leave the iron on the fabric for too long to avoid burning. Basically use common sense and such.
I don't doubt you will have any problem!

Backstitch the puzzle pieces in the same color they are and it won't look so jarring but will give the puzzle bits some definition. And no problem on the ironing! I actually just ironed my first piece a couple of weeks ago because I was scared to do so as well but I *needed* to iron it so I bit the bullet. LOL!

This is so awesome! I love that the puzzles make a square. I just posted it on www.spritestitch.com/.
