Tattoo girl...I was practicing using Painter a bit, but pretty much on the bg. Photoshop was used for most of it. I was also trying out a displacement for the cloth pattern.
Awesome! Thank you! It is very cool to be able to talk with the artist. I am going to buy the 30x40. Is it posible to remove the (.com) part or no? I will buy it regardless but thought i should ask. It is going to be in my living room. If you do any more punk rock looking tatooed asian girls you will always have a buyer! Thanks again, Brett
I hope you didn't buy it yet...I'm doing a little retouching on it, made it look better. I can send you a preview if you'd like, and I'll try to re-upload it as a new print.
Nice. I really love the sun in the backround. Oh and does anyone know the exact name for the sun, I think its rising sun or something of the sort. Anyways great picture!
This one is outstanding, and for one simple reason.
The tatoo.
The image in itself (somewhat light-clad girl/woman in a semi-common comcbook style) is not that special (if you dont mind me saying so). Its good, but it doesnt stand out if you know what I mean.
But the tatoo is...remarkable.
The oloring in general is very nice, the background is quite neat (with that "grungy" feel to it) and whatever it was you did with the pattern on the cloth, it works man (I'd love to know how you did that. I've seen it a couple of times, but I have no clue how people do it).
But the tatoo really stands out. It looks realistic, but somehow it doesn't look like a photograph of a tatoo that has been added. It just flows into the skin just like a tatoo should do...
Wow she is out of this world! Love the cloth, ripples and displacement is great! I really am enjoying the colors they are very vivid. The tattoos damn!
