Since we did Team RWBY last time, it's time once again for a new gang of characters to go on an epic adventure!
For those unfamiliar, Artists will join forces and each draw a panel to form a comic; the panel is built around a short
sentence commented in this journal. You get 10 comments
, so give the artists some funny start, middle, and end sentences to work with! If your comment is too specific, elaborate, or obscure, it probably won't get picked.
Here are community comics 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 11, and 12! Read them to get a good idea of how you should write your comment, and maybe applaud the talented artists involved!
You can also volunteer to draw a panel based off of a comment! PM either the RWBY group or knives4cash to volunteer. We'd love to have you! This Community Comic will star the four members of Penny, Ciel Soleil, Ironwood, and Atlas Soldier #593!
1. For the intro sentences, use specific names. Penny, Ciel, Ironwood, Atlas Soldier #593
. If you want it to start off as a group, great! If you want it to start off with just one, two, or three people, great!
2. For non-intro sentences, don't use specific names. Use "they" or "she" or even the oppressive "he" when referring to a character, so that the sentences can be swapped and connected like Lego blocks. This will allow the plot to be more easily constructed.
3. See the comments that artists picked in the previous comics? Don't write a sentence that requires too much effort from an artist; the comment will not get picked, because a lot of these artists are busy!
4. Don't REPLY to comments to make a comment chain plot. Compliments are fine, but if you want your comment to have the best chance of getting picked, it needs to stand on its own. Remember, you're not doing yourself any favors by not making all 10 comments!Comment collection will clearly close with calm conclusion on MAY 31!
