Wow. just Wow.
Willy my heart is breakiiiiing, Through the whole thing i couldnt stop thinking about Reiko and then THE ENDING. Aghhh That was too good, so tragic honestly. The part where Earthea invoking all of their fallen heroes names... taht really got me too. This really comes off as such an epic tale all coming to a point here. My favorite part is probably the tactic they used against the virus where they encircled and trapped them between the boys ready to just have at it. Thats such a brutal and genius method. No escape at all for them since they were being plucked from the sky.
So good as always!!! ToT Can't wait to do a full re-read through of it all. I feel like all together it will be just as impactful as it was the first read.
Oh my gosh, this may be one of my favorite chapters now. I dont know how to explain it but this just felt so epic. I really love the way this is written truly like the account of events put together into a textbook or historical document rather than the story how it is from a boy or more's point of view. I really like those kind of history books so that's the kind of feeling I get. Although, I think a version of events seen through the eyes of one of the boys would be amazing too! I would love that.
There were so many good parts of this but I really love the overall strategy the best and the little details. The things like little character implementations here and there, like the the little virus (who uhhh sadly died) and the speech to rev up those at the war meeting. Just perfect.
"all the leaders clad in gorgeous white uniforms that symbolized the purity of their souls, untarnished in spite of the horrors that they witnessed" this is my favorite part. Not just because I'm obsessed with white and I imagine them all looking gorgeous in white military uniform (lol) but that's just such beautiful imagery. That's something that really reminds me a lot of japanese and chinese culture along with western. White always seems to symbolize purity, and the idea that these boys can be encouraged to remain upright in such a situation is rather beautiful and tragic.
Awesome work as usual! Loved it!!! Cant wait for the next chapter~
