Summary:
A compact yet athletic dog. The chest is broad, deep and noticeably heavier than the rear. The head carries upright diamond-shaped ears, triangular muzzle and the characteristic black mouth marking that forms a natural, almost smiling expression.
The neck is thick and muscular, wider than the rump, flowing into strong shoulders. The front paws are large and flat-set, with sharp, downward-growing nails that contribute to the breed’s surefootedness. Hindquarters are light but well muscled, giving balanced, agile movement with a smooth, low-effort stride.
