High Res Transmap for Daz Ponytail - v1

Greatly inspired by the efforts of Laticis to create a fibre mesh hair prop for the ladies.

The Ponytail hair prop by Daz is one of the best I think. It is that great because it has a lot of fringe detail. But the original transmaps and texture maps are too low in resolution to get something useful when rendering at higher resolutions. So since I don't know anything about what Laticis is doing right now, I decided to see if increasing the resolution of the transmaps would help. And yes it does. The transmaps now have 8048 pixels. I used paths to create the hairs and gave them more or less random curves. Then painted these paths at 2 to 3 pixels. The results were extremely nice stroked paths with no jagged edges. These then layered on top of each other to get some more coverage. Finally in Octane playing with gamma to control transparency and adding some sss and reflection.

The scull cap is still black.

I'm not saying I'm done or that this is it, but I'm very pleased with the result and will continue to do some more work on it.
