Private Wilhelm had taken cover in a hole in his trench to evade the 3 french troops chasing him. He drew his pistol and began to fire from his hiding spot. Five shots rang out, 3 troops went down.

Amazing :D looks very good. Very accurate, and the C96 isn't some fucking Chinese version with the cut down barrel like what most people draw. Props

This has REALLY been bugging the crap out of me lately. The pistol he is holding is a Mauser C/96, and it WAS NOT FULLY AUTOMATIC. Spain made a copy of it called the Austra that was full auto, but it was never issued to any police or military force because it was so impossible to control.

My intention wasn't to draw a soldier with a full auto C96... altghough a lot of cases on this picture.

That helmet look's like Stahlhelm M 35 from WW 2, not like Stahlhelm M 16 or 17, 18 from WW 1. Look at profil of this helmet.

I like his open eye very much. It conveys the fact that though he is a fighter, he is still human.

Great work! The spent casings flying out of the Mauser and the grim dertimnation on the soldier's face are brilliant :D

Thanks for your comments, but it's a ww1 soldier (helm, uniform, etc). I used documentation.

 Excellent, mon cher Mr B.!! Terribeul!!!

Very nice! Mausers are sexy pistols. The grittiness of the ink/paper texture suits the drawing very well.
