Serpamia Flare Strip 361

I considered drawing what Nemi saw, but then I realised it was unnecessary because Kylie can only see in her mind so far as what Nemi tells her with plain verbal description. So I thought it'd be best to have readers on the same page as Kylie.

I am taking a lot of time with the pacing and dialogue with this scene, and this general sense of slower, exploring pace will probably carry on throughout the rest of this chapter. I am aware that compared to the last chapter, this is quite different. We'll see how it goes; if I get frustrated with my own pace I'll cut it short somewhere, I guess. XD; But in general, the characters need a little space to breathe, process and develop, so hopefully this chapter will serve that purpose.
