When I wrote out the scenario for the hot springs, I wanted to avoid over-doing it on the fanservice. This page, however, I decided - oh what the heck, I'll sneak in one panel.

As much as I love Fairy Tail, there are times the nudity is just so gratuitous, I can hear my eyeballs hitting the back of my head while I read certain scenes. The men do get their share of nekkid there, but mostly the women get a ton of unnecessary exposure. It's not just Fairy Tail of course - most shounen manga will go ahead with these sort of scenes - and I get it.

So maybe this is just my way of saying, hey, you know what? I'll let the boys give a little bit of unnecessary exposure too, and see how well that goes. (I have a fairly balanced readership gender-wise, but I do have more males reading this strip than females, so this may not go down as well as I want. XD)
