World-building ramble: In Archaiea, something called 'Seals' can be made and attached to accessories, armour or weaponry to add a certain benefit. Some of these include magic/speed/strength enhancement, elemental attack/defense, increase in range of attack, and so on. Seals come in different levels. Back in Strip 36, Mike and Jinn mention Gold Level Seals, which trump Silver Level Seals if the benefits conflict each other on the battlefield. The reason Mike and Jinn are so happy are because Gold Level Seals are friggin' expensive. Kylie assumes that Sho is carrying a Seal that is lower in level than a Silver, because even a Silver Level Seal costs an arm and a leg, to say nothing of the cost of a Gold.
