Jockey: Jasmine Yew
Race: Rosebud Maiden

Another first for something was with Thunder, she'd been in an In-Hand race while a yearling and placed 4th, but now that she was 2 years old she was entering her first real race. She didn't seem to nervous, just curious about the other horses and riders. She snorted softly as Jasmine mounted up and rode to the post parade, after trotting around they loaded into the gates. Thunder pawed the earth and snorted, her breath foggy as the temperature was still low and cold. Jasmine shivered slightly, but quickly regained focus as the gates opened and Thunder shot out. After finding her place in the pack, Jasmine and Thunder worked quite well together and were soon nearing the finish line.
