I'd like to quickly introduce this journal entry by saying that currently I've started work on my 38th, 39th, and 40th paintings officially today (having just finished patching up the three that I had uploaded today). After a fun time at ConBravo, I've caught myself being upset by the huge jump of how many paintings I have in my possession over the past couple of weeks. I had a huge shock at the convention, being when I had given away a pair of paintings that I had put a lot of work into, it had taken a while for me to realize that it took a quick instance for them to disappear.

Its been a rough road finding stuff to paint over the past couple months, and coming up with games to paint because I've already touched on a lot of games I adored. I've gotten a lot better from when I first started painting, both my method and efficiency has improved dramatically, but it got me thinking about when I had first started painting.

It was hard trying to get everything perfect at first, as I had even given up at one point thinking it was a lot harder than I initially thought (there was a 3 month break in painting Mike Tyson and Chun-li). I really hope that my paintings have gone off to good homes, not because of how much work I had put into them, but because they really were the ones that started my hobby of painting.

To this day, I could point out (to a pixel) the issues I have with all of my work (and there's a lot), but I'm happy that there are people that enjoy looking at my work as much as I enjoy working on them.

Thanks everyone!
