The Traditional Artist is playing an acoustic guitar writing their own songs in their style and playing for a single band and doing it well. The electric guitar just got invented, and that's what I started playing, and I'm a Studio Musician playing for many bands and given the sheet music to play and doing it well. Solo artist's don't usually get upset at Studio Musicians because they understand it's a different discipline using different instruments.
