haha that and the fact that their so intricate.

I can see why it would take you a long time.. where as my portraits take all of 2 hours at most because I dont know what im doing >...<

woah... thats alot of tools.. lol
ill definatly have to work my way up to all that.

thanks though Ill keep it all in mind ^...^

lol...I'm not very regimented though...I don't use all of them all the time and then I forget which ones I was using...it's probably half of the reason why my drawings take so long to do!

Holy Crap....
Ive only dreamt of being this good!!!

fuck.. my portraits are a 0 compared to yours!!

Wow.. is all I can say.

This is simply amazing, and the jacket :O freaking unbelievable.

(just for my own reference, what pencils do you use?)
RTyson's avatar
well I've got 20 *cough* ish years head start on you....it's mainly down to patience and practice. :)

I use a variety of different pencils from 4H to HB steadtler wood encased pencils and also 0.5 mechanical pencils with leads ranging from H to 4B and I also use derwent graphic pencils 7B to 9B for the really black areas. The paper you use will also affect your results, I use 220gsm bristol board which is REALLY smooth..... a good alternative to it, if you have trouble sourcing bristol board, is hot pressed paper.
