Another of my favourite TV shows makes an appearance on my Docs, I used leather paints and permanent markers to customise this pair. I think they'd suit Kaley Cuoco!

you can see more of my customised boots at my facebook page www.facebook.com/PimpedMyStrid…

Love it ! That so cute *-*
I wondered, which material do you use because I shall like too to customize my docs!
Do you use some varnish in spray (or something like that), for waterproof  ?
Thank you for your answer :)

I use specialist leather paints, they are acrylics that have silicone added so they are flexible and won't crack, they are waterproof once dry, you can also buy leather finishing liquid in gloss, satin or matt to add extra protection, it works great on normal leather but it doesn't work so well on patent leather.

good luck with your customisation. :)

okay, I will see if I can find it ;)
You think that it can work with sprays for "street art" which are normally made for all the surfaces? Sorry for all this questions ^_^'
Thank you for answered me (*^^*)

I don't know, I haven't tried them...they will be able to 'stick' to all surfaces but this is no guarantee that they wont crack or split with wear, you could try asking the manufacturer or do a test on some scrap leather to see how durable it is before committing to the Dr Martens. I also prepare the leather first by removing the waxy protective coating on the leather (NOT with patent boots though) I use acetone, this helps my paints adhere to the surface but they then need a few coats of the finishing fluid to resurface and protect them.
