Hello there! I am one of the new CVs in charge of Fan Art, Digital Art, Traditional Art, Anime/Manga, and (for now) Anthro. I am here to share my guidelines and share tips and tricks for how to suggest DDs!

My Daily Deviation Guidelines

I am fairly well known for my Daily Deviation suggestions as I have been doing so for over a decade. So if you are visiting and want to learn more, there are some very handy groups that can assist you:

Community - This group is the official hub for the volunteer team and all community events currently available. It shares events, educational material, and a variety of other important information.

DailyDeviationsGroup - Specifically a group to house all current Daily Deviations as well as a listing of current volunteers to making suggesting easier.

Daily Deviations are deviations (or, rather, art) that are chosen daily by the community volunteers and featured in a special section on DeviantArt. Each deviant can receive a DD once every 12 months. Self-suggestions are accepted and all DDs are up to a CV's personal discretion.
Each category (digital art, traditional art, photography, literature, etc.) has a member (or more) of DeviantArt called a Community Volunteer (CV) that oversee that artistic genre and decide what to feature on any given day. Check DailyDeviationsGroup or see the Official Volunteer Journal for a full up-to-date list of the current CVs for all categories (and suggest any deviation on a category that isn't covered to moonbeam13 or KovoWolf, as they cover all categories).
It is important to read a CV's personal DD Guidelines (typically included or linked somewhere on their profile) before suggesting. Those guidelines can include important rules, personal tastes, and more helpful and important information for suggesters to know before sending in their suggestion. Additionally, you should only send in a suggestion once and, if you use messages, only to one CV. Some CVs will let you know if your suggestion is accepted, in which case (if rejected) you can then suggest it again to another CV if you want.
You must be a member of DeviantArt to suggest (signing up is free). Any member of DeviantArt can suggest a Daily Deviation. Deviations can be suggested using messages to the CV directly or through this Google Doc spreadsheet, which is preferable as it gives a deviation more chances to be featured and doesn't require multiple messages.

I hope this brief overview helps new suggesters learn the ins and outs of Daily Deviations. If you have any feedback for this or notice a mistake, please don't hesitate to message me about it. I will get to it when I can and adjust if necessary. Until then, take care.

Just finished episodes 1-3 of Seven Havens and I have a lot of questions. No spoilers here and I don't intend to talk about it until season 1 is complete. That being said, there is a lot to it and I might not be able to hold back before then. So we will see. Obviously, if I do talk about it, I will give a spoiler warning. I am definitely invested, tho.
