Merry Christmas

Miranda lives above the bookstore she owns and outside a snow storm restrains people indoors. Many become depressed being alone tonight. Not Miranda. She is secure within herself and never feels the need to lean on others. Nonetheless, a very Merry Christmas to everyone.

The male protagonist, Janesh McKenzie, is the son of a Scottish Charge d'affaires in her Majesty's Diplomatic Service who married a local Brahmin noblewoman. Across the sub-continent, Janesh is known as the Mahān Śikārī, the Great Huntsman who tracks down maneaters that go outside the parks.

In Chandrapur he meets Miranda Logan, an American preeminent zoologist, who seeks to enlist his skills. She is searching for a mysterious creature that leaves horrific deaths in its wake. India remains a large portion of the story and it can be purchased on Amazon.
