Hestia

Takonos burst into the room. "Thieves are among the ruins trying to cut away the statue of Hestia." Spartiatis stood, thoughts racing across her imagination. Hestia, the eldest of the first Olympian siblings, her brothers being Zeus, Poseidon, and Hades, stood as the most honored and revered. Spartiatis grabbed her spear dashing toward the ruins.

Hestia, who would never marry, remained one of the three virgin goddesses, the other two being Athena and Artemis. Spartiatis ran harder. She did not slow down, charging into the group, focusing on the one about to begin hammering against the statue's foundation. Seconds later he staggered away collapsing against a degraded wall, his guts pouring onto the ground. She almost screamed as a sword pierced her shoulder and the second's sword began opening blood-soaked cuts in her thighs and arms. Through gritted teeth, rage sliced her spear point deep into his torso. Pulled back out, his entrails followed. Casting his sword to the ground, the third sputtered and begged for his life. Her spear silenced his cries mid-sentence as it entered his throat, replacing the sounds with blood-gurgling croaks

Joy filled Spartiatis seeing Hestia still standing. Deep breaths held the pain and ache at bay as blood formed rivulets dripping off her body. She turned and bowed before the pure, undefiled virgin goddess.
