If you read my previous entry you know I was confused by a translation switch in the subtitles of Funimation's Soul Eater. It turned out that in addition to the "Kishin" to "Afreet" change, "Soul Resonance" had become "Soul Sympathy," and a few other key terms were switched up as well for no apparent reason. Like I said before, the translations themselves didn't bother me so much (although "Soul Resonance" sounds MUCH cooler than "Soul Sympathy") as the fact that I'd spent several episodes learning/getting used to these terms only to have them change on me with no warning/explanation. In what is supposed to be the official sub.
