When I see some art that either has an interesting concept behind it or good quality, I watch the artist to get him into my list.
And that list is to have references or artists to commission if or when I need something again.

I don't tend to go posting my commission rates all over people's profiles but, as you've mentioned the subject, I'll briefly mention that my usual rate is $20 for a sketch and $100 for a complete coloured piece (like the majority of the images in my gallery). Naturally, a lot of images will fall between these examples, but I won't wax too eloquent about it here. Please feel free to drop me a Note, if you find yourself in need of a scribbler.
