Gorizia Castle Fireworks 2024

Due to torrential rain yesterday, the fireworks spectacle to celebrate New Year 2024 was canceled and rescheduled for January 1st at 22:30.

I was more concerned with creating a good video of it, but I managed to capture some nice shots as well.

This is a single shot and not a composite image like many others. Setting the right exposure is crucial for a good photograph. Post-production can create various effects and improve an image in many ways, but one thing is the concept or idea of a scene, and another is a photograph of the scene. These represent two different sets of skills within the same passion for visual arts. However, photography, as opposed to collage or other art forms, also holds documentative value.
