Description


Above the river Koritnica gorge in the upper Soca valley Slovenija EU is situated the fort Kluze.
It is one of the most visited kultural objects in the valley and was built for the defence from Turkish invasions,
than used by Napoleone's army and than again in use in WWI.
The road going near the fort is the only one that drive you over the Alps by the Predil pass where another fort is placed.
