Since time began: what artists are telling us

Since time began: what artists are telling us

By Jon Rappoport

These are notes I wrote while preparing my three Matrix collections:

“Many people are afraid of art. Why? Because art says reality isn’t finished. This reality—the one we all know about—isn’t the only one. An infinite number of realities can be imagined and invented.”

“People who say they have no imagination are imagining they have no imagination.”

“The atoms of the body and the atoms of the universe are waiting for imagination to give them more life.”

“Artists are saying, ‘No matter what Super-Reality you believe in, no matter what cosmology you accept, imagination can go farther. There is no final map’.”

“Artists are saying, ‘Your future is wide open. You can invent it. Or you can let someone else invent it for you’.”

“Artists provide answers to questions that haven’t been asked yet. This bothers people who want to spend their lives solving pre-set problems.”

“Living in a virtual bubble can be interesting, especially when you’re not aware of it. The question is, how extreme can a bubble be? How much of what we think of as reality can actually be the stuff of a bubble? Most people want to say a little bit of this and that is virtual and the rest is absolutely authentic. That’s as far as they want to go. But every bubble has its own space and time. This means space and time are far from exclusive, far from singular, far from absolute…”

“The Labyrinth is where most people are. They live their lives walking through paths that circle around to places they’ve already visited. They experience, over and over, a relatively small number of emotions. They think they need a map to escape. But a map is what got them into the Labyrinth in the first place. A map is a system. To leave the maze, they need something beyond systems.”

“Imagination is more than a tool. It colors all of consciousness. It understands that What Already Exists is just a way-station into the future, and that future is open, without limits. Somebody may have already invented the future for everybody else, but he can be derailed, he can be superseded.”

“Look at a structure you have an intuition about. Now begin digging down into it. Think about the weirdest possible revelation you could uncover. The one nobody would believe. It’s possible you’re sniffing on the right track. For example, governments announce a new epidemic caused by a virus. And you eventually find out that this virus has never been found in a single human being. This has happened to me.”

“Painters like Kandinsky, Klee, Matisse, and Redon understood that what they were inventing was at least as real as what people took to be reality. The painters understood that, but they didn’t talk about it. They didn’t express their insights in such bold terms. They realized it would open them up to intense ridicule. From whom? There is a group on planet Earth who functions as the Guardian of Reality; and then there is a much larger group, the dupes of the Guardians. These two groups buy and sell Ordinary Reality.”

“A person has a problem. What happens when he’s tried all the familiar solutions and they don’t work? He has to imagine a new solution and put it into effect. What happens if he says he has no imagination?”

“Stop thinking of yourself as an ordinary human being who has ordinary problems that need to be solved. That’s what got you in a mess in the first place.”

I saw briefly that dA have blocked some countries from posting anything... I don't know too much about this, but until they retract this I will not post anything at all...
If you know more please let me know... Also please let all your Watchers know... This is a terrible thing to do, up until now they have linked people of all countries in the true spirit of art, freedom of expression and we have all made lifelong friends and bridged the gap created by wars and politics...

Help, please can someone tell me who do we contact for fractal Daily Deviation recommendations? I have looked at the 3 digital art pages and fractals are not featured by any of them...

I see rather a lot of wonderful new fractals and would love the creators to get DD's...

I don't have time to do the admin so please don't ask me...

After a great deal of thought I have decided not to renew my Core membership. If Redbubble and other sites can give a great service for free and still make a good profit then why should so many feel obliged to pay nearly double the cost of what full membership was just a couple of years ago to support Deviantart when their net worth as published online is $934 million...

MEMBERSHIP HELP

I am not sure about renewing my core membership. The price has almost doubled in the last few years... Yet other sites that offer much more are totally free, they just make money from selling products with our art...

I would really appreciate your suggestions... After 12 years on dA I have not even sold £20 in profit for me... Yet dA are making millions from our membership fees...

Comments appreciated

Thanks

WONDERFUL ART FROM A CHILD PRODIGY

:

What do you all think of this? To be able to paint like this with no training and no other artists in her family. I know she is an Indigo child and now adult... I too am an Indigo adult...

My Eldest Grandson

My eldest grandson Taidgh (say as in tiger without the r) Is at university in Cork studying movie making... He has already reached the giddy heights of film festivals and this is his first wonderful film:

I hope you enjoy it, it is not very long and I think many of you will have had similar experiences... These are real actors...

This is his second clip, it is a documentary type study showing a few of the tricks film makers use to draw you in:

Taidgh is doing all the narration...

I think you will agree, he has a promising career ahead of him... He is 19 years old and in his second year at Cork university...

All comments welcome...

Thanks for looking...

I retired from teaching bellydance over 10 years ago... I had a ranking website www.basthabda.co.uk This was all finished when I retired, yet today whilst looking through archived hard drives I find a link from a site I did for my brother to this:basthabda.co.uk/
Now someone has taken the information from my old site and put it into a blog. The articles are all written by me with no credit whatsoever to me...
Is this actual plagiarism or someone just trying to keep my website going. The Orientalist images were not on the original site but the images on the other pages were...
The lessons on how to bellydance are all from me. This has all be deliberately used...
Anyone have any ideas what I should do about it? Right now I am not at all happy...
The name Basthabda was my own invention. Bast the Egyptian cat goddess and HABDA was Hambleton Area, Belly-Dance, Association...

My writing is art theft as there is no mention of me anywhere on the blog... I did not sell the domain name... It was valued at £1,500 10 years ago...

Comments please... Thanks...

AS most of you know, I cannot walk very far, or even stand, my ankles are like jelly and always swollen...

I have been trying to raise money on a Gofundme campaign and 4 kind people donated to help me get a mobility scooter... This seems to have now fizzled out and I have been trying really hard to find some help from charities...  I have not got anywhere other than the possibility of an electric wheelchair through a very small company... However there is a lot of paperwork and details they need to know... As I seem to have the worlds worst GP and cannot change due to the fact that I cannot travel, well this is what I posted on Facebook earlier today...

My Doctor...
No names will be mentioned here... Last week I contacted my GP to see if there was any mobility help that he knew of... He said he had a booklet I could collect, I said I may not be able to walk that far, he said he would phone a few people and see if he could find anything and I was to get back to him a week later... I did, I spoke to him last night, I think he had completely forgotten what he had said and just told me I would have to buy what I wanted... He said goodbye, however I shouted "I haven't finished yet" he then said "yes" I told him I had found possible help, I mentioned the name of the charity, he said OK, I then told him I would need a new Occupational Therapist assessment and a note from him... He asked what kind of note, he didn't seem to have a clue. I have a large form to fill in and send it back to The Mobility Trust with the Occupational Therapy report and a note from him attached... I then asked what happens now, he said he would sort out the Occupational Therapy and when he gets the report will write a note...
This same GP took 10 days to get pain killers for me after my bad fall 2 years ago... Also after my last eye test 14 months ago, I was supposed to get a referral for further investigation, I have heard nothing at all... I have 3 months to get this back to get the help I need... I have NO money and live on benefits...
Yet I get texts and phone calls asking me to go in for vaccinations and reminding me that he is my GP...
How on earth am I supposed to trust this person...
The NHS used to be great, the family doctor used to care about their patients. Now they care about MONEY. Mine has about 5,000 patients, how ridiculous is that? What on earth can be done about any of this? Will I ever get any mobility help?

This is the Gofundme campaign in case you have a sudden windfall and would like to help:www.gofundme.com/2mkxbxjw

Love Roz X
Sorry to ask lovely people but I am having great difficulty walking. I do not drive and live alone. I recently saw that it is possible to get folding mobility scooters, the other type would not fit anywhere into my house. However they are very expensive at almost £2,000, so my son and I looked on Ebay and found several used ones... I live on benefits and hardly ever sell my art so I am looking for £500 to keep me mobile...

I have started a Gofundme campaign and already had some very kind donations from friends. If you can help at all it will be very much appreciated...

Thank you for reading this and any help that you can manage no matter how small...
