I really liked the way you handled a certain incident that happened in the comics; much better than what actually happened. It didn't help that when reading the specific issue, I felt extremely uncomfortable. It's nice to see this character done properly and treated with the respect she deserves.

Kudos to you. C:

This is an excellent example of how to use a horrific, serious subject like sexual assault in fiction properly, by treating the situation with care and respect, and showing how the character who actually endured through the sexual assault and found within them the willpower to go forward, instead of what actually happened in the comics. To me, the rape of Sue Dibny is up there with the death of Lian Harper and Frank Miller's Holy Terror in terms of comic material that is genuinely disgusting and potentially harmful to others, and it makes me so happy to see something so horrible handled in a respectful manner here.

Man, I kind of hope that origin story could be use in the CW-verse

Well, she’s certainly adorkable , both her and Ralph, and nice job of making the incident from Identity Crisis less grisly, and I do eagerly await Ralph’s second File. Also, since we are doing Archers and Assassins, I noticed that besides the still to be released File for Sin, Artemis is missing her file as Tigress too. Just pointing it out is all, Roy

Wait, no one sponsored Artemis’s 3rd File yet? Huh, no wonder....okay then, but can we expect to see Ralph’s second File and Thea’s third file soon?
(I am really interested in knowing about her new Sin persona)

Aww thanks for crediting me! I am not disappointed with what you did here... in fact, I love it! I look forward to seeing this explore more in the DOF based off what you told me!

I really like the concept of Ralph and Sue being a superhero duo together. While, what happened to Sue in Identity Crisis was something I really wished never happened I appreciate how you made it Sue' story and explored how it affected her character, instead of something that was "revealed"(aka reconed) after her death and seemed like it was used to give the story the veneer of being ""adult"" instead of giving anything actually meaningful to her character(sorry about the mini-rant about Identity Crisis).

Mini-Rant accepted. That was the most important thing to me about Sue Dibny. If I were to include that controversial element of her story, I was going to make it HER story and explore how it affected her. I almost decided to exclude it altogether but Earth27FanGirl helped me realize that by excising that altogether was ignoring an opportunity to tell the story of a woman who survived a sexual assault and uses her survival as an opportunity to help others from being victimized as in comics, if a woman is sexually assaulted they usually are removed from the story shortly afterward, become a villain or a rage monster vigilante, or if they do become (or return to being a prominent) heroine their rape is later retconned out of existence which seems to suggest that a woman can not be heroic if they had been raped. Sue's own assault is unfortunate, as you alluded to because Sue's victimization is never about her or her coping with it. The story is about how it affects the men in her life (and not even her husband as Ralph is hardly a character in that story).

Well Barbara Gordon was raped and she became Oracle.

No. Barbara Gordon was not raped. Not in Earth-27 and not if you believe the writer. She was shot, stripped naked, and photographed, yes. You could say she was sexually assaulted (not that I personally would as I don't perceive the Joker as much of a sexually motivated being) but she was not raped.

Well she was in my head canon. I kind of think of the Joker as a masochist.

Arthur Phelan, huh? I don't recognize the name. But given that this isn't the first time Sue's been assaulted by a man named Arthur, I'm guessing this is Earth-27's Doctor Light?

Well, I'm guessing Kimiyo Hoshi is about, so I guess more accurately, I'm asking if this is this universe's version of the supervillainous Dr. Arthur Light.

I believe AzureVirgo realizes that and is just explaining why Arthur Light's name was changed to Arthur Phelan, so as not to confuse Kimiyo Hoshi (Dr. Light) with the villainous waste of space that is the other Dr. Light.

One might also guess that his name was changed in order to avoid the jokes about a light-themed supervillain oh-so-coincidentally having the last name of Light.

Based on what I read, it was an extract from a fruit from Central or South America that had mystic properties. In E-27, it can possibly be a rare variant of an apple or pear?
