I draw a lot and don't always color it in, so I have quite a bit more practice with lineart than actually coloring and shading. So I've been working a lot on my coloring lately to get a little faster at that.

It really depends on what I'm doing. I clicked lineart because I usually do non-pixel art things- coloring and shading that is a breeze and is pretty fun. But when I do pixel art, it's the other way around because dithering takes forever

it seems like I forever and always will take like four hours to draw linearts and then three seconds for coloring...but bases never work for me so I'm stuck drawing it :(

Dunno what to choose, I doesn't really take me long to do the lineart and the coloring.....
But I'll choose coloring, because when I color the drawing, I'm always worried that the color won't be right or that the watercolor will dry really quick and leave strange patterns on the paper...

Coloring. I can be trying to select thetiny pixels blocked off by lineart, but end up selecting the lineart by accident. So it takes ages to get that to work right.

Might I suggest trying FireAlpaca it has awesome lines that are smooth and can be made to also correct for hand shake. It also has a cool feature where when coloring you can choose to increase the fill by pixel amounts so that you don't have to deal with filling in pixel parts. Best part is Fire Alpaca is free!

As nice as that would be, I can't do much on my computer. Everything I draw in Sai that I post, I have to have a friend send to me. Because all that works on my computer is Sims, Sai, and Skype. So I can't get online to download it, and my nom doesn't want me downloading anything likw that on hers.

Oh well if you have Sai then work with that then. To my knowledge everyone says Fire Alpaca is just a more simpler free version of Sai.

Lineart for sure. I am a quick person when it comes to drawing, though. Well editing takes the longest for me, in the end, but lineart takes far too long on digitally. Especially the clear outlines.

For a sketch I usually don't take very long.
