Should old deactivated usernames be recycled?

Yes! All the good names are taken and most deactivated

No! It would cause too much confusion seeing already used usernames being brought back up again

I think that if they are inactive and contain nothing, they should be recycled. Things that have content could be archived.
What if they are archived with a dArchive:username type of thing.
If someone died or something, it would be nice to have an archive to come back to there is a huge risk in internet data that things can be lost forever. People's entire life's work could never be seen again due to overwriting things online.

I'd say even 2 years is a perfectly reasonable grace period. If you abandon something for that long you lose the right to use it, it's just logical

Use the traslate google plis.(?)

Accounts that have been inactive for 5+ years should definitely be cleared for re-use.
Especially those that have nothing on them. People took the name and then never used the account. Those ones hurt my heart. :c

Yes and I think they should have everyone who hasn't been on in 5 years sent an e-mail saying if they don't log in within 90 day they will have their account froze until they log in and will have to choose a new username with their account being blacked out and art put into storage. With their username going into free supply. If the art is moved to storage then it won't be stolen and their identity stolen as easy. If they make it so that you can see a users history of their username and when someone enters the address at the top of the page it asks did you mean and shows past users of the name with current name and a slide over drop menu of their profile they could also allow recycling of names users had gotten rid of.
