Is saying "credit to original artist" without linking back to them or giving their name at all sufficient credit?

Just goes to show, nobody reads DeviantART's rules at all. Because, in their Copyright Policy, it clearly states;

Da-copyright-rules by Colorcodex

In short, credit will never be enough, and will never justify taking artwork of any kind.

This was kind of speaking in general in places off DA as well, as I've been on other sites where it happens much more frequently, unfortunately

Let's go with no watermark so no one would be able to look on the drawing and see credit, because that would be a bit more understandable
