Yes (please share your experience(s)! I may do so myself soon and I'm kinda nervous)

I lived in Germany for seven years and visited about every country around it. We frequently returned to France, because it was closest to where we lived and they have amazing food (desserts) there. I briefly lived in the states again for three years before moving back to Europe. As you're probably aware, I live in Naples, Italy, now (:

I definitely recommend northern Italy over southern Italy. Naples has a copious amount of hookers and gypsies (who are mostly harmless as long as you stay on busier or more populated roads/neighborhoods), plus the mafia, but I've never encountered them. There's also an assload of trash. Every place has its pros and cons, but it sounds like you'll be going to some pretty cool places. Trust me, you won't regret it. Italians down south are super welcoming and personally experiencing different cultures is an awesome thing to be able to brag about. I hope you have a good time if you do go!!

I used to live in a small village that was located very close to the border. We really didn't have good stores in our village so I used to drive with my mom to the neighbouring country to buy furniture from an Ikea store lol

My family drove from UT (Utah) all the way up to Canda and it took about a week, it was pretty fun. ^^

That's incredible! I've only been to 3 other states besides mine and that's all the major traveling I've done

I see you will go to China? That is so cool. I always wanted to go there. I have a cousin who married a Chinese woman and they have lots of cool pictures from Chinese New Years!

I did a lot of traveling in an RV as a kid where we hit a lot of states along the road trip we had a tiny motorhome that kind of looked like the Rustbucket in Ben 10. Italy was a 7 day High School Trip. 8 Cities in 7 days in a crazy bus. Japan was a business trip where my dad took the family with him. Lots of fun sights and things to do. We had a family friend who personally took us around everywhere.

Wherever you go I hope you have fun and find good people to hang out with. don't be afraid to live like a local and try as much as possible :D

Yes! I've been to Canada, I went there because I was born in Alaska and my mom and dad decided to move to Arizona so we drove there, I went to England and Amsterdam, my aunt is a news reporter(?? I think??) and she has two sons and so she went to London to work their and she needed someone to watch her children, so my mom, my grandma and I decided to come and we also went to Amsterdam on the same trip because my grandpa's family is there, I went to Mexico just for fun, and I just went to Paris  and I am currently in Dublin right now!

I went to Australia last summer and it was a lovely experience! We went hiking along the coast, got attacked by birds (well my mom did anyways), explored Sydney, and rode a boat past the opera house.
Its a very long flight though. Like fifteen hours and I can't imagine what it would be like if I wasn't in first class.

I've been to South Africa once & i'm going to Egypt soon.
As for the experience, it was amazing. The plane flight was pretty awful, to be honest. But once you get there, you just forget that.

I've been to London once before to visit family that were living there at one point.
It's really fun just exploring all the stuff that you'd never see in your home country, at leas to me.

I spent three weeks in Mexico a few years ago.  All in all it was great, I did spend a week of it sick but that was my fault for not washing my hands enough, haha.

I haven't been mentioning it much since it isn't set in stone, even if it's most likely I will

I may be spending 3-9 months in China, which will probably include a trip to Thailand as well

And since I've never traveled more than 2 states away from my home state, and only visiting 3 other states besides my own in total, this is a really big deal for me-

oh wow that will be a huge deal! I understand why you're scared
that is a long time, but as long as you try to have fun you might get used to it.

Sidenote; Thailand is actually a really nice place, although when i went
it was stickin hot. It is a really well friendly place haha.
