Not sure if I'm paralyzed, but have had halucinations from presumably not being fully awake.

Recently I woke up to a something pulling me off the bed via pulling the sheet under me, making me slide closer to the edge. I saw the edge of the bed getting closer and could hear the sheet being pulled, I wondered if I could do an experiment, so I stayed still to not jolt myself out of it. I uncurled my finger, feeling the edge of the bed at the tip of my finger. I waited to be pulled again. After it  looked like it had pulled me to the very edge, I uncurled my finger again to measure the change in distance. No change.

The one I had before it was at a hospital. I had a dream that a girl needed to share my cot, I had a grave feeling she was dead. I woke up to a hand on my shoulder and no one was there. I got up to speak to a nurse. He started to make very strange ghost sounds, which I commented on and he looked baffled.

The dream thing happened also when I was little, and that was the most vivid. I dreamed that I was being chased through a maze by monsters that looked kind of like wooly catepillars. I woke up to someone tapping on my shoulder and blowing in my ear. I said stop it, thinking it was my step dad, but when I looked up, he was asleep. I saw one of the creatures in my lap, staring at me. After a minute, it floated up into a milk crate and vanished.

Omf that second one sounds really creepy o-o

The last one seems kinda funny, but I'm not gonna lie I probably would have woken up crying if I had that dream as a kid xD

I've had some super weird vivid dreams and nightmares

Some have helped me like overcoming my fear of bees, and others have worsened me, such as I had a vivid dream of being shot in the chest at night in a power outage in my neighbor's house. It was so vivid, the pain was like nothing I've ever felt.. It wasn't just pain I felt, I felt an entire shock run through my body as the bullet impacted. This overwhelming feeling of knowing I was going to die. Time slowing to a crawl as like reality. I fell to the floor and everything went black. I remember hearing the impact of my fall. In the dream I "wake up" staring at my person in he hospital. I floated around like a ghost, but I could tell I was still alive, however I had a huge gaping black hole in my chest that nearly went all the way across

Im not sure if I woke up after that or went into another dream, but I can't remember anything else

Ever since that nightmare, I've been terrified of walking out in an unusual area or sitting in a car in a neighborhood I don't know well... especially at night. Vivid flashbacks of this nightmare occur and it will make me tense even thought the chances of me being in an actual threat of being shot is very low

On very rare occasions. When it happens, I become consciously aware of what's going on around me, but I can't open my eyes [except for once] and I'll attempt to move, but nothing will happen. I just calmly keep willing my muscles to move until they finally do - it usually takes a handful of seconds, but it feels like forever.

At least once or twice I've fully woken up but one part of my body will still be paralyzed. One time not too long ago, when I had gone to lay down because I had a serious migraine and I ended up dozing off, I woke up and wanted to reposition my head [as the spot that was hurting was right against the pillow and the pressure was bugging me] but I couldn't. So I reached up and actually lifted my head with my hands and repositioned it that way.

I haven't really experienced any of the hallucinations, that I'm aware of. Before it happens, though, I sometimes wake up thinking someone just called my name.

I have it a lot honestly but me being a heavy lucid dreamer they don't effect me as much. I just get the inability to move. On really bad nights I'll hear people talking to me. I don't think I've ever seen anything though.

However when I was younger I used to get it bad. very bad and almost every other night. < n > I think this is why I did everything I could to learn how to Lucid dream, to like help with my night terrors. I used to miss soooo much school.

for the most part now I get stress dreams. xD

omg sorry Im rambling about stupid me. XD

I have but it was rather mild, nothing big happened, no hallucinations or anything, I just couldn't move and it freaked me out a little. Well i did feel like there was something passing through me though, not sure if that's related to it or what.

On an airplane once (and a few other times elsewhere) FRICKING TERRIFYING. If I have it once, I usually have it multiple times in one night... Happens every few weeks or so.

There was one when all I could hear was my little sister screaming, and another where I had a full-fledged hallucination in witch a tall person with a mask stood over me and laughed. Creepy.

Holy crap O.O
that is flipping weird.

It's strange though... I know that sleep paralysis can be caused by lucid dreaming... I usually realize that I'm dreaming, but I'm never in control when I do... I always feel like I'm possessed and have no control over my actions, even if I try to break from it, it still controls me. I rarely have new dreams, and have almost every action and object I see in my "regular" dreams memorized, even if I recognize the dream... I still am not in control.

tmi :/

also, my mother does not believe in sleep paralysis. I wake up after an episode she asks me what's wrong. I say sleep paralysis. She thinks I'm just paranoid.

I have them a few times a month and usually try to snap myself out of it by blinking
But one time it happened around last summer i was really tired and didn't know it was happening so first thing tat happened is I hear like a heavy drum being banged, its ready stead and really loud, sand its the only thing I'm hearing so I'm like oh my gosh wtf and try moving and when I can't move and I'm really freaking out and since this is happening while I'm in my bed I'm really freaking out, it gets worse as it feels like I'm being choked from behind by a really strong hand wearing a glove.  It then feels like I was being thrown off my bed and i try screaming but my throat is really dry and it feels like I've stopped breathing.  It was really scary and I'm not sure what would have happened if my brothers dog barking wouldn't have woken me up

Omf that sounds even more terrifying than what i experienced earlier today ;a;

I've only had a few episodes of sleep paralysis and I don't exactly care to have to experience it again

yeah it was pretty terrifying
thank goodness they only happen a few time, and that was the worst one I had so I've been petty ok with them, but having two of them in the same day also sounds pretty scary
