The Tiberium Age:
This is a more simple one made on request for Wisky-08. A map of the world set in the year 2047 just before the beginning of the Third Tiberium War and shortly before the arrival of the Scrin Menace. Soon a Nod insurgent force will capture the GDI Missile Defense Centre for the North American Atlantic Coast just as the GDI leaders prepare to hold a conference on the GDSS Philadelphia which is currently entering orbit over that particular region.

*May be a little different from what is shown on the wiki page but I like to think of this as a somewhat less simplified version of that map.

You know this is gonna a sound strange but do you think since there are a lot of mutant and The Forgotten faction tucked away in the Red Zones, that there is some sort of plant life and game animals like a mutated deer or something.

I believe there are some canon mutant species but I've never seen anything like a proper, sustainable mutant ecosystem. They're usually monsters of one variety or another.

I know that there canon flora and fauna like Fiends and Blossom trees but I was wondering if there was a limited ecosystem. Like the Fallout universe, the war killed a lot of things but animals lived via mutations.

I'm afraid I couldn't really say.

I honestly don't know who I would follow, Kane or GDI. Tough choice

Where i live is a yellow zone you think Nod would draft me?
RoyalPsycho's avatar
It depends. Do you accept Kane as your personal lord and saviour and the one true prophet of the truth of Tiberium ;)

I honestly don't know if i grew up in that world in territory run by the brotherhood of Nod chances are i might

btw for 15  think you mean new mammoth tank the walkers were discontinued around 10 years ago

I think that's a typo. It was probably meant to be "were" rather than "are."

Blue- GDI territory
Yellow- Nod territory
Red- Scrin territory
abloodbrother's avatar
Blue- GDI entirely
Yellow- Part GDI, Lots of Nod territory, little bit of Forgotten.
Red- largely uninhibited but major Forgotten presence, a few NOD black sites, ZOCOM outposts.

Blue - GDI Territory
Yellow - Disputed (technically NOD dominates but its actually neutral and there are GDI presences).
Red - Uninhabited (the Scrin haven't arrived yet so the only things living there mutants and the occasional NOD fanatic sect or GDI research base).

very nice just re-watched the GDI intro and it looks almost identical but the Balkans didn't become a red zone until the LT Bomb and most Germany became New Eden a bluezone before being retaken by the yellow zones post tw 3  with the south American blue zone being smaller

Thanks. I was going by the map shown on the C&C wikipage and in the intro which - as far as I can tell - have some inconsistencies with what the game presents.

also i just checked Hawaii is never stated to be a red blue or yellow anywhere it is always grey I normally assumed it was blue cause it was part of the US and probably held a large GDI naval presence in pearl harbor

Since New Zealand's North Island is a Yellow Zone I assumed that the Pacific could be susceptible to wind-born Tiberium. Since I never heard or saw otherwise I assumed that all of the islands were essentially Yellow Zones.
GDSPatheII's avatar
but i normally assumed that if and when tib reached the islands considering that Hawaii is strategically vital any Tiberium was surrounded with sonic fences and the ruptures capped with a tib silo after the crystal are harvested that and considering that most big islands are blue zones im pretty sure Hawaii is blue with out lying islands and atolls being yellow or red

good point. I think that when I made this I was just assuming that unless the wiki page said the area was supposed to either by a Blue or Red zone it was a Yellow Zone.

also isnt the Northeastern seaboard bluezone 2

The wiki page listed the northeast Seaboard as Bluezone 1 when I made this.

What's the backstory here?

It's a map of the world in Command & Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars, the third game (technically fourth if you count expansions) in the Command & Conquer Tiberium series.

The series is based around a meteor landing in Italy along the River Tiber and bringing an alien mineral to earth that gets named Tiberium due to the river it landed in. Tiberium is apparently able to grow by assimilating organic matter and crystalising it. However the mineral is also invasive and incredibly toxic to native terrestrial life. As it grows it also either kills or mutates the local life, leaving parts of the world barren wastelands of Tiberium deposits with the exception of hostile mutated lifeforms.

Apparently it also serves as a relatively inexpensive and near infinte power source so the world does promote its growth in areas so they can harvest it and it becomes responsible for a new scientific revolution.

Then along comes a cult called the Brotherhood of Nod. They worship Tiberium, believe it will accelerate humanity to the next stage in its development both physically and spiritually and attack people who try to regulate or contain it. They're lead by a charismatic demagogue called Kane who believes he is the Messiah of this new world and apparently cannot be killed (it is revealed he is an alien which upset a lot of fans).

In response the UN founds the Global Defence Initiative or GDI which eventually supplants the world militaries altogether as Tiberium spreads and renders nation-states defunct.

This map is set in the mid-21st Century when Tiberium growth has spun out of control. Red Zones are areas of intense contamination where there is nothing but enormous deposits of Tiberium (Ice Age glacier size). Yellow Zones are less contaminated but also possess the majority of the human population and are in a state of social collapse and decay. They are also Nod's primary strongholds. Blue Zones are the GDI's strongholds, are free of Tiberium contamination and have achieved a state of near post-scarcity standard of living.

Then the third game begins and you have to fight the Third Tiberium War.
