1. How can I improve my art? 2. Is there something I should do more of? 5. How can I improve as an artist?
Hmm, this would be tricky, I'm going to answer the first, second and fifth question over here only. You obviously use the MLP style for drawing characters, whilst it is pretty good, it starts to get boring as one scrolls down your gallery because it feels like the exact same thing. So I'd suggest you use other styles of art, I already said this to thedarkmaster2.deviantart.com so I'm gonna Copy Paste it since I don't really have much time. Take References, especially for the hands and fingers, they ARE THE WORST! You can also trace, it's not always bad unless you make it your comfort zone and don't get out of it and never give credit. Tracing many-a-times becomes a comfort zone, when you realize that, GET OUT OF IT! Keep all the traced/ half-traced work to yourself, or if you wanna post it, GIVE.CREDIT!
As they say, everything is bad in excess. You can keep on making ponies, but I'd suggest you to start making other figures as well, such as humans, robots, stationary items, other animals, flora, scenery, ANYTHING! If you really wanna improve as an artist, you must do that, this has become you comfort zone, and whilst I do see you trying to creep out of it, you gotta try harder
Try different art styles, ask people for critique, whilst some might give NON- 'CONSTRUCTIVE' -CRITICISM, they would always mention something important that you should take note of
3. What do you like most in my gallery?
I love this one reminds me of what I need to deal with everyday at school ;w;
4. From my reference folder, which OC design do you like best?
and I could see them fitting as side-characters in the MLP universe, but I dunno, I stopped watching after season 4 XD
No, I don't think so unfortunately, you can go to other places such as amino and find groups where people can ask for criticism and give it tho. I'm pretty sure that you need core to get that tab. I've been searching myself :/
