Still dwelling in the world of folk tales. No genre of literature features more brutality than folk tales. There's nearly no tale without someone being killed in a gruesome way, stoned, eaten, shot or beheaded. You name it.
So here she is, Elizabeth. She can't take the behaviour of her husband Prince Alexander anymore and just choppes of her own head with an axe.
Useless Fact: Did you know, that if a head is chopped off just fast enough, the brain has still enough oxygen to live for another 7 minutes. Tales say that Marie Antoinette actually opened and closed her eyes, trying to speak, when her had was already cut off, laying in the wooden basket typical for a beheading with a guillotine.
