Nathaniel Boots

Many, many years ago I came up with a story about a place called the "Offices of Creation" which is a large building floating within the void with the capacity to take the ideas of man and use them to create new worlds within the multiverse staffed by mythical creatures and fairytale characters alike. Nathaniel Boots (Also known as "Puss 'N' Boots") is one of the workers there who gets himself in particular trouble, he likes traveling to various worlds and getting involved, making himself the hero in many instances. He drives the head of the offices crazy, but he's got a good heart and is able to fix some real sticky situations, so the head of the offices keeps him around.

I am still messing around with my watercolor techniques, this time I tried to replicate the style of Ricefish who has been my favorite artist for years and years now, inspiring some of my earlier, more eclectic pieces from my high school days;; 
I think one of the things I need to work on is how to add colors lighter. My first instinct is to throw down TONS of color, and I lose that light pastel whimsical feel that Ricefish obtains with her style. However, I do like the wildly colorful whimsy that this technique gets, so I think I'll work with it a little more. c:
