As a deviantART user that's mostly interested in Japanese media, I can't stand it whenever different users post copy-and-paste pictures with characters from their precious world of Western animation and not any amount of anime and tokusatsu is being acknowledged and used at all. Back in the 2000s, deviantART used to be a good website filled with so much fan art drawn by teenagers and/or adults whether it's traditional or digital; most of the fan art was based on any anime of choice and its aesthetics. Nowadays, deviantART is being clogged with too many selfish, underaged iPad kids, cartoonaboos, SuperLitKids, and lolcows who keep on refusing to draw a single piece of fan art and treat Western animation like it's a gift from God and treat anime and tokusatsu like Satan's hellspawn. In conclusion, this is the main reason why today's generation of children under thirteen aren't allowed to be on the Internet and use social media.
