deviantN0NNAKED – Gives comment boxes their borders back. Also styles artist descriptions and deviation sidebars in the same way.

Attention: deviantART is currently messing around with deviation pages, so a few things might not work as expected for a while. (Also, the screenshot is slightly outdated, particularly concerning the sidebar.)

Hey :) I've modded this style a bit and got rid of the original reply border radius when you open the easyreply Easyreply Border Radius Fix by electricjonny   Might need some adjustments to better suit your styling, but the idea is there at least.  Basically add a box-shadow to cover up the radius since it doesn't look like you can remove it once the easyreply box is open.

Sorry i never got back to you on that before. That's an ingenious fix for a slight annoyance that i never thought of before. Kudos! I've just worked in a fix, and after i've done some testing i'll update it. Thanks again! :)

That one corner used to drive me nuts, I just never sat down to actually get a good fix in place ;P

The only issue now that I've seen is on the easyreply box on the watch feed page www.deviantart.com/watchfeed/ (the box is too high up, so the left border doesn't fit) which I think has been there even before my fix.  I'm sure there's an easy fix for that, but since I rarely ever reply on that page, I haven't worked on it yet =P  I probably will, eventually, since it doesn't fit the current styling of comments (consistency, dA…), and you have to hover comments to even see the reply link, so I'll probably fix that too.

Yeah, my nonnaked style flows over to the Watch Feed in many places. Now that it's live for all, i must really go and fix this, even if i don't particularly enjoy using that feed page…

Finally I can read everything even with my own deviantart black version. So far, I had to mark the artists' descriptions in order to read it.  Looks good!
Now I can start messing around again and try to make everything black again :D

And congratz to the DD of course!

Can you fix the boxes in the forums too? Also, the edit button no longer has an image background... :la:

I'm happy to announce that Forum pages now have their sidebar skinned as well. (That's only thread pages, not the overview pages, for now.)
rotane's avatar
Oh you mean the sidebar in the Forums? Yeah, i noticed that this morning. I'll look into it.

As for the edit button, which one are you talking about? The ones at deviation and journal pages look fine to me…
LabLayers's avatar
The edit button on the deviation pages - in the preview it has a striped background.... But for me it's showing just a gray box!
rotane's avatar
Anyway. I've just pushed out a new version that adds compatibility for Webkit browsers (like Chrome and Safari). You know, the striped background was using a Mozilla-only command. Just tell your browser or Stylish to look for an update.

The Forum stuff will have to wait a bit.

Ah, i see! I guess you're not using Firefox, eh?

Is there also a way to uninstall this... The little note doesn't appear to me and I can't report/hide and stuff anymore =/
rotane's avatar
In Firefox I presume? Goto "Tools" -> "Add-Ons" -> select "User Styles" on the left hand side -> look for "deviantN0NNAKED…" -> click "Disable" or "Remove".
WoLfgIrLyS's avatar
Yes and thank you, ist a shame though, it looked so smexy ;3;

This really makes a HUGE improvement to browsing dA. Thank you for making this available to all of us! :D

My pleasure! :)

I don't understand how to install this ?
rotane's avatar
That should be easy enough:
  • You need a browser like Firefox or Chrome, plus the Stylish extension (here's the link for Firefox: [link] and here the one for Chrome: [link]). Once you've got them, restart the browser.
  • Next, head over to this page: [link] and click the big link that says "Install with Stylish".
  • On the new pop-up window click "Save" (a button somewhere at the bottom right).
  • Done.
