The Dream Team - Stones vs. Davy

So... This image started with three horses. Was completed with.. Three horses... The I realized that the classes being entered, well, they're not supposed to have more than 2 from the same stables. Luckily, it was just a matter of taking the horse and moving the layers to a different image, so it got saved. Hate doing more than one horse, but it is what it is.

Most days, Stones and Davy trained together at home. The two of them fed off each other perfectly, pushing each other to the limits. No one knew what they would do when they were put together in an actual race that included other horses. Stones had his first start a couple weeks ago and had won by lengths over both Shots and another. Drake wanted to know if maybe Stones could bring in another big win for the stables. This time though, Drake decided on a long shot by bringing Davy with him. Davy had never raced, yet she showed great promise in keeping up with Stones, so it would be interesting to see.

Once the race day came, Davy jigged lightly in delight, glad to be out and about. Stones was his typical, nasty self, having two people lead him to get tacked and mounted. Griffon knew the drill and threw himself up onto the stud and moved him away from everyone else. Davy just looked around excitedly, her tail flagged, her nostrils flaring. She was a bit of a handful to handle, but she wasn't nasty in the least bit. All she wanted to do was spin around and look at everything going on. Drake just hoped that it wouldn't mean the difference between coming in first, and last place.
