Hello! I have been posting fanart that I made over the course of my activity throughout this account, but I have original artworks like this to share! Both of them are OC's of mine from a story I am currently (maybe?) writing about. It is a fantasy/adventure story that I am writing. I've always wanted to write stories since 2016 because of how you can bring up worlds and share those with people!
I don't plan on submitting the literature works (like chapters and stuff) onto DeviantArt since one, I am not complete, and two, I just want to focus more on digital art instead of a mix. But if you are really interested in the literary works, I might share it with you with caution (I'm not a really good writer). Oops!

Can you draw fanart of these characters? Absolutely! I'd be grateful if somebody drew fanart of my OCs, as long as they give me credit. I've always wanted to start a fan base with my story.
If you wanted to draw one of my characters, I would make a reference if you wanted one and submit it.
If you wanted to know the title of my story, it is called Doctrine of Chrystamanthra. I might change it later on as I write. Chrystamanthra is a goddess in my story, goddess of light and the Phoenix.

:iconrosediv1plz::iconrosediv2plz::iconrosediv2plz::iconrosediv2plz::iconrosediv2plz::iconrosediv3plz:

Both of these characters are dragons and they are 'Lesser-Divines' (the lowest rank of divinity among those that are divine in my world), and they are important characters in my story. :eager: by darkmoon3636

The girl to the right is named Diana Yomlilo-Tan (hence my un-creative title that I used for my Scholastic submission), the queen of Lucida, a mountainous country populated with dragons and walkers (humans) in my world. She used to have wings until during her childhood, she performed a ritual that made her wings spectral, or ghost-like. It's basically like cutting off your own limbs only for the purpose of making ghost-like versions of it after that :| (Blank Stare) . The blue dragon, which is Diana's father, is named Cascade, a slasher-dragon (they are called that by their tusk-like blades on their cheeks and their swift abilities, they are common folk in Lucida). Plus, the beginning of my story takes place somewhere in Lucida.

I started this on November 16th, 2017, and finished this on December 11th, 2017. Something like that took very long, any art piece I do takes too long to complete unless I could stop procrastinating and potential art block. I wanted to post this piece here now because I love this artwork and how it went through a big contest and I feel like I wanted to share with you guys!
La la la la

I want to try putting some kind of music thing (supposedly those that go well with the artwork, similar to what one of my favorite artists, Kate Fox did) for my artwork of my OCs now. I don't know a lot of songs, but I'll do it because it's very interesting.
Sweating a little...

DAAAMN LOOK AT THE DRAKE!!!!!
I really like the colours you used both for the dragon and the rider (?). I see you are trying to paint without lines so kudos to you for making every object look distinguishable!
I think you should use more solid shades though, those soft shades you put there are a bit too much for the eye when blended together and it gives the expression of "dirt" rather than shades, in my opinion.
But then again if you are going for that soft-shaded style you should just put more pressure on your shades, make them a bit darker while adding stronger highlights!

Other than that your piece looks awesome and the position of the light source compliments the characters nicely!

Arrow Right by ArbuzoweArchiwum 【About the general result】
I think your deviation is attractive enough to look at hehe~ It certainly pops out in the gallery considering it has fully colored background and character that reasonably resonates each other and doesnt overpower one another oof~

Arrow Right by ArbuzoweArchiwum 【About the lineart】
I could see that this is a no lineart drawing but thats fine~ There's clear difference on parts of the drawing anyway hehe~

Arrow Right by ArbuzoweArchiwum 【About the coloring】
Your way of coloring looks pretty nice~ Though maybe harder shades and lights could help out a lot to improve it! ^^) It seems too blended for me, though that doesnt mean it isnt pretty in any sense hoh~

Arrow Right by ArbuzoweArchiwum 【About the style】
I think your style is good but you can improve on the coloring, and maybe add more tiny details perhaps? :O

Arrow Right by ArbuzoweArchiwum 【About the originality】
It looks pretty nice tho i cant say it's that uncommon oof--;; I like the idea you thought though, and the designs of both the dragon and person looks pretty so thats a big plus~! Great job on this piece :)

Aw, I really like this art! (dragon lover here!)
Your style is great. Shapes of characters are defined so they don't need lineart. It just look good as it is. Also coloring looks nice, but you should try add some more shades and lights in my opinion! And work some more on anatomy and everything will be perfect. Anyway I really like your idea and the art looks very very good. ^^

I think this is a well done, well thought out deviation.

Arrow Right by ArbuzoweArchiwum 【About the lineart】

Your shapes are well defined and not blurry, even with out line art. Your edges are very sharp.

Arrow Right by ArbuzoweArchiwum 【About the coloring】

I think you did a good job with the coloring. It's pretty stark and crisp.

Arrow Right by ArbuzoweArchiwum 【About the style】

I think you have a good style going. A little more practice with anatomy could help. But don't we all need that >.<

Arrow Right by ArbuzoweArchiwum 【About the originality】

It reminds me of Yu-gi-oh XD Now I'm really seeing a Blue-Eyes White Dragon.

Arrow Right by ArbuzoweArchiwum 【About the lineart】
There is none but we can see all part of the drawing without any confusion, so that's good =)

Arrow Right by ArbuzoweArchiwum 【About the coloring】
I like the way you color but maybe you can add more shading and light effects. It doesn't look flat but a little more stonger shading and light would be great to my opinion :meow:

Arrow Right by ArbuzoweArchiwum 【About the style】
I think your style is good but you need to improve some details to make it better, especially anatomy

Arrow Right by ArbuzoweArchiwum 【About the originality】
I like character's design but I can't say it's uncommon ^^;

Compared to some of your other jobs (eg Reinhard) it seems a little bit flat on the whole.
But I really really love the palette Eyepopping Sign Emoji-03 (Thumbs up)

Hello, fellow deviant! I've noticed that this deviation has been posted on :iconhow-do-you-see-art:!
I'd be glad to give you a constructive comment if you don't mind. Giggle

【Overall quality】
The quality is good and definitely shows some effort, but there are few things that I think can be improved.

【Line art】
There doesn't seem to be any line art in this, so I'll skip this and move on.

【Coloring】
There can be some work on the coloring.
The main color choices are nice, but I think you should use either more saturated or different hues of colors when adding shading to the characters.
There's nothing wrong with shading with colors that have lower value than the main color, but that usually works better for pieces with darker atmospheres than this one.

【Style】
Your style is pretty good. I believe you have gained a style through a lot of development, which marks clear effort.

【Originality】
It's not entirely like most pieces with similar composition, but it's not uncommon either. Either way, it's not bad.
Maybe one way to boost the originality of this piece is to add more to the background than just a reddish glow.
