Description

Unfortunately DA has now restricted selling downloads to Core/Pro subscriptions, which is not worth it for me anymore.. If you're interested, you can still buy the template through PayPal for $4 - send me a note!

Thank you all so much who have purchased this template!

A tack template with many options, mix & match your horse's perfect outfit!
You can read all items included in the template here.
 Examples of use.

You CAN:
:bulletgreen: Create tack designs for your horses
:bulletgreen: Create horse and/or tack designs to sell for points, money or art
:bulletgreen: Show allowed/required tack for your competition
:bulletgreen: Make changes

You CAN'T:
:bulletred: Share the file with someone else or upload the PSD file in ANY way
:bulletred: Use on other websites in any form
:bulletred: Use the tack on other drawings or linearts*
:bulletred: You may paste the horse on a different background, or remove the horse to display only the tack on a reference template, etc. But don't use it on your own horse base or in drawings like training images etc.

:bulletblue: You HAVE TO credit me in the description, with a link to this deviation.
:bulletblue: You DON'T have to send me a link of your use, but I would love to see it!

Compatibility
:bulletpurple: Photoshop CS will work perfectly with it.
:bulletpurple: Photoshop Elements doesn't support layer groups. The file titled "PSE tack template" has all the layers flat and sorted as well as I can; it's much nicer to work with a program that supports groups, but it'll do. GIMP works and is free to download.
:bulletpurple: SAI supports groups but has a layer limit per file. There's seperate SAI files so you can open them and then paste the results together into 1 image.
:bulletpurple: GIMP 2.8(!) supports groups and so this will work with it.

 NOTE!
>> Depending on your horse's coat color, you may want to play around with the opacity of the quarter marks.
>> With the quarter marks comes a "sparkle" option, I put that on a seperate layer so you can choose if you want it or keep it "natural" looking.
>> The bellyband is in 2 parts! The main material can be found under the "Pads" group. In "Saddles" you'll find the subgroup "Bellyband straps" under either the dressage, jumping or eventing saddle. This is to make sure it fits with the different girths.
>> I recommend moving the saddle-starting number around to make it more fitting with the saddle pad you're using.
>> Layers that start with "X:" are extra's, for example the bit guard or ear bonnet.
>> Saddle piping 8 (dr) and 7 (sj/xc) works very nicely combined with any of the other pipings, but I recommend moving it around so it fits best.
>> There are tons of pretty textures to find right here on dA. Go crazy with leather, plaid, animal prints, and so on! :la:
