Finally, the tutorial. It's my first tutorial on craft. So, if it's not good ... forgive me OTL... I remade the wings for my headphone... I don't have money to buy new headphone right now. So, I used my headphone xP..

I wonder... if you'd cut an extra circle out of the round shapes, and you'd glue that to the headphones - would be a little less stabile but you could use it as an actual working set of headphones.
I'm gonna try that I think.
this is awesome, think you so much for making a tutorial ^.^

No problem. I think that could work as long as the circle part is strong enough/thick enough to support the rest of the weight of the wing. Good luck!

Hmm...
I'm thinking about making these for a birthday gift for a friend. ^^ Thank you for this tutorial
A few questions though:
1. Where do you attach the wings? I don't want to take them apart because I want these to be functional. I looks like you took off the earpads of the headphones, but I'm pretty sure that's not it...
2. Did you somehow varnish the white pattern on the outside of the headset?

1. I did take off the earpads because the headphones that I was using wasn't working.

2. I used white craft glue :)

hmm...
what if I don't want to remove the earpads? Would it still be possible to attach the wings?
And thank you for answering my other question! :)

um you can attach to the round part of the headphone.

No problem.

I am so tempted to go and buy a new pair of headphones just so I could do this. :XD:
Nice tutorial though. The cellopane idea is genius!

how did u get the inner design of the wings to be so smooth after u cut it ;___; im having trouble with that

I cut smooth as possible when I cut it >< um maybe practice with a piece of foam and then cut the actual foam wings out? that might help. :) What kind of material are you using for the wings?
CoelumStellatum's avatar
I just used regular craft foam O: I don't know if it's my x-acto knife or my skills but it came out really choppy ;___;

I used soft foam. Ones that feels like a sponge. Are you using hard foam?

rorin25ccStudent General Artist
oh. I think you can make it better by practice cutting =)
