This is another photo I took while on the same walk as the other photo.

I had walked down the path on the right hand side, and had turned around and I saw this.

As I'd walked down the path, I'd noticed the twirls in the soil of the field from there they had been recently ploughed, and when I turned around, I noticed that the path curved in a very similar way just on a larger scale.

I think the curves add a nice bit of cotinuation to the picture, and the hedgerows of the path also give a good lead-in-line, as well as a dark balance against the bright yellow of the field, and the bright blue of the sky.

The digital manipulation that was used in this picture was a bit of adjustment to the levels to bring the colours out and erasing a mobile phone mast, using the clone stamp tool, that was a tad unisghtly on the right hand side of the picture.

that's cool, nice bright colours

well, the one major problem with this shot is that its SO big. Fine if you've got a 50" monitor but for people like me with a lowly 1280x1024 its impossible to view all at once :P
