Hmmm, First, I'd like to make it clear that I am not asking you to stop. But in terms of my feelings on it, it's not an easy thing to express, but I'll try:
Hypothetically, if someone was redrawing of my art in the same medium (digital or traditional illustration), I'd feel negatively about it. Kind of like they are piggy backing off of my style and design work without consent. I think most artists feel that way.
3d art feels a little different, though, perhaps because it's a different medium... It's not taking complete art style cues from my work, which is the more personal aspect, I suppose. At most, it's capturing composition and posing, and perhaps some things like character traits, costumes, etc. And yeah, that stuff takes me a lot of work to come up with, too!
But in the end... it's honestly harmless, and I do think it's cool that you are inspired by my work. It's just a concept that I am new to, and working on getting used to. I'm not trying to make you feel bad, just expressing my personal feelings on it.
Anyways, go for it!
All I'd ask is that you continue posting a link to the pose inspiration in the description. Do that and I'm totally cool with it!
Hope that makes sense!
when I see something that blows me away I get lit on fire internally.
working on my sharingan will make me "strong with the art force".
