Thank you! I am self taught. I practice a lot and use reference, and push against the things that I struggle with. I self criticize and try to find areas to improve, then I seek solutions that other artists use, to improve those weak areas in my work. I am self motivated and I work very hard. Drawing is the thing I do more than anything else.
No, I don't generally have any book suggestions, as I pretty much just do as I stated above. Lots of practice, study of real life (and sometimes other artists), experimentation, and self criticism, with the goal to improve.
YouTube tutorials are good too, just search "how to draw/paint/etc" and as you learn new art terminology, google how to do those, and just keep following that rabbit hole.
