You need to go "waaay crazy" more often, then!
The impressionistic fluffy/fuzzy textures you're so adept at really help make this picture unique; the do a wonderful job at creating a sense of distance with those mountains, the clouds, and the mists over the lake. I particularly like the sci-fi city half-hidden in the background (I told you you were good at those!
), as well as the sky-ships just coming out from the clouds.
My one qualm with this piece is that the "fuzziness" extends a bit too much into the foreground—the girl and the robot... thing... are a little too blurry for their own good. I feel like they should be a little clearer, seeing as they're perspectively closer to the viewer.
Also, though the trees are nice and impressionistic, I think they're a bit too hastily put together; when I look at them, I can "see" how you made them in a digital art program (black trunks and branches, and then a different brush effect for the leaves).
But, all and all, it's quite nice.
