No, I'm not telling what this is about... :)

Somehow it feels like I want to say that I'm sorry for that last Journal entry. That just doesn't feel right anymore, it feels like I was just trying to find something to blame, and it just happened to be DeviantArt itself that "got in the way"...

Things are changing now, and it feels like my inspiration (and/or motivation) is slowly coming back to me. I don't want to talk too much about personal things here, but I'll say this... Different people to work with! Different things to do! And a really important letter in the mail!

I have actually started on a new pony to customise, and it's looking good so far! Maybe I'll even go so far that I'll upload something soon? Who knows?

I'm playing Pokemon Y like mad today, and look what day it is today (October ELEVENTH, holy cheez!)! Some stores started selling them a bit early, at least here in Sweden... Oops!

Yes, it's true. I haven't felt that very motivated to upload things on DeviantArt for a while, but it has gotten even worse now. I really, really dislike all these new updates. Uploading stuff is more tricky and boring now that I have to use that sta.sh thing, and I really don't like the idea of visible keywords and visible names (even though I haven't even written my name here, but DeviantArt isn't supposed to be Facebook!). And don't even get me started on the extremely distracting pageview thing and the new comment system... I actually liked to type out the codes for the emoticons myself, it's kinda like when I was learning HTML and it felt like I was actually doing something by typing the code myself, you know?
I don't feel like uploading things here anymore, and it's probably all this new, annoying SHZSHI!${~? that made me lose the will and motivation that it takes for me to actually get around to upload anything. It may sound silly and weird, but I do actually need to feel motivated enough before I upload something. I need to feel that I'm ready. But now I don't, and I probably won't feel like I'm ready for this again for quite some time now.

OK, it's not just because of DeviantArt itself, but I don't want to talk to much about personal things here. Life isn't always that easy, that's all I can say.

But no matter what, I won't delete my profile or the things I've uploaded (unless there's a really severe crisis on DeviantArt). I just don't feel like doing anything here right now. Who knows if/when I'll upload anything new? In two months? Two years? I don't know! And I wonder if it would be a good idea or not to create a profile on a different website? One that doesn't get all screwed up everytime you think that you've gotten the hang of how you should use it...

(Wrote some more on August 27:th) ...What I meant by "I just don't feel like doing anything here right now" is that I don't feel like uploading anything right now. I still log in regularly to see if anything new has happened, and to look at stuff. Also, I'm not angry at any person here on dA, I'm just tired of all the sucky updates on dA itself. Not that anyone has asked me, I just felt like mentioning this anyway. Just in case anyone was wondering. Also, sorry for the unusually whiny Journal, but this is just the way I feel right now.

At first I wanted to keep making updates to the previous journal entry, but it would probably just get too messy with all these pictures (yeah, one picture and a plz icon), so I decided to write a completely new one instead.

I guess you could say I'm finished working on the jackdaw now. I dried the wings, feet and tail in the oven, and they look just like in that picture now, except that they're maybe not as blurry in real life. Read more about it at the other side of the picture... (I haven't added a thumbnail like that before, but you can click them, right?)
Whatever happened to the jackdaw by RoguesAndGhosts

Also, I saw a movie. I asked my dad something about this movie a long time ago (I don't even remember what exactly I asked him), and all he said was that he thought that the movie sucked.
Me: "But what is the movie like?"
Him: "It sucks!"
Me: "What happens in the movie?"
Him: "Dunno. It sucks!"
Me: ....(more generic questions about the movie)
Him: "It was a long time ago I saw the movie and I don't remember much from it, but it sucks anyway!"

Guess what? The movie didn't suck! Ha!

:icontaxidriverplz::iconsaysplz:You talkin' to me? Oh yeah? I told you my movie didn't suck!

I made that plz icon! :D (the one with Robert De Niro, not the speech bubble)

I found a Corvus monedula (western jackdaw, eurasian jackdaw, european jackdaw or just jackdaw - call it what you want) today! Hooray!

:iconburdplz: (I'm not sure of what kind of bird that is, but the icon still looks fitting enough) :)

Interesting! Let's see what I can do with this!

Update! June 15:th
The jackdaw was skinned today! Sadly, the skull had gotten completely crushed when the bird died (it was probably hit by a car, because it was just lying there in the middle of the road). I don't know if I'll be able to fix this, because the skull is as thin as a piece of paper... We can only hope that I'll be able to glue it all together after having cleaned it... =P

I just got a new tablet, and it actually works! Woohoooo! It's a Wacom Bamboo! What should I draw? Any suggestions? Should I draw the main character from the stories that I write, so that he's doing something in the picture? Or something else? I haven't uploaded any digital drawings before, I would just like some suggestions here (but I won't draw anything that will require the Mature Content filter)...

And just in case anyone is wondering: I'm still working on that other project that I wrote about before, but it's taking a reeeaaaally long time... This other project is to put together a badger skeleton and to prepare a badger hide, but I'm out of hydrogen peroxide for the bones, and it's taking ages to soften the hide. Just to let you all know.

***EDIT*** It's never too late to write a suggestion on what I should draw, even if this Journal entry looks old to you. Heck, you could write a comment with a suggestion even if you find this Journal entry 3 years after it was written! As long as I'm alive, I *will* read all my comments! :) (Does it look weird that I added something like this only 10 days after I wrote the Journal entry?! But hey, I just wanted to point it out...)

I'm working on a pretty big project, and this is something that is (almost) completely new for me. I have always wanted to try this out, and now I've finally found something to work on (this thing that I'm talking about is something of a hobby project that I'm working on at home)! It came as a big surprise to me, but it doesn't seem to be as difficult and/or complicated as I had thought. I guess you could say that this project has two parts, as there are two different things to do, and I have started working on the second part now, even though the first part isn't finished yet. It's like two different things that started out as one from the beginning...

This hasn't got anything to do with my Fimo clay figures or my customised My Little Ponies, but I *will* upload pictures once I'm done! I'm having so much fun working on this thing! *Wish me luck!*

I don't know if this gives you any clue of what I'm doing (well, maybe not), but the tools I'm using while working on this project are such highly advanced things as knives, scissors, a fork, a spoon, some kind of stiff little brush, salt, and of course a secret thing that I've kept in the freezer... No, I'm not making food! I'm not eating the thing that I'm working on, because that would just be disgusting and disturbing! And it's not food anyway. Also, my dad didn't want to see it...

Anyone who wants to guess what I'm doing?

Here's a list of some funny things I've heard people say! This is my own list of things real people said, *not* something I found on the internet! And I translated them from Swedish to English all by myself! Enjoy!

"Hello Kitty is cute, but what is it supposed to be? A mouse?" (18-year-old girl)

Two boys (9 years old or so) are talking to each other, when one of them suddenly says:
"Sssshhh! Something smells!"

"How do you spell skalleton?" (9-year-old boy - And yes, he really did pronounce it like that)

"Those who'll drive... They... probably have driver's licenses." (15-year-old girl)

"Where's the %&#€& star?!" (My dad, while playing Mario Party 5 together with me. He also referred to Mario as "Luigi" once!)

"This is a table that can fly. What if some dinosaurs will show up and stomp us down?" (A 12-year-old boy who liked to say random things like that just to see if I would laugh)

"You shouldn't write with Caps Lock turned on!" (18-ish boy, when the teacher wrote really big text on the whiteboard because we couldn't read his handwriting)

Two girls (16 years old or so) talk about God:
"God created the humans of clay!"
"But where did he get the clay from?"
"He bought it at Ica!" (Ica is a chain of department stores here in Sweden)

"My shampoo smells like strawberries, but then why doesn't it taste like strawberries?!" (15-year-old girl)

"The gramophone records were so fragile, they'd break if you just happened to fart at them." (Music teacher)

"My beard caught fire once." (Another music teacher)

I was talking to a woman (50-something) who was having some problems with her computer.
Me: "What web browser do you use?"
Her: "Hotmail!"

"So I was supposed to drive over this ramshackle bridge, and there was a sign reading 'Weight max. 15 metric tonnes', but I weighed at least twice as much!" (A 40-something man who was telling the story of when he drove a truck over a bridge)

The teacher asked us to name a Swedish canal (canals and TV channels are called the same word, kanal, in Swedish).
"TV 1000!" (7-year-old girl)

"I used to play a lot with Barbie dolls when I was a little girl... You could comb their hair... Dress them up... Comb their hair... Comb their hair some more... Combing, combing, combing... Yeah, I had a lot of fun playing with my Barbie dolls..." (30-something woman, speaking in a slightly bored/tired voice)

Merry Christmas!

Yeah, we celebrate Christmas today (December 24:th) in Sweden! Soon I'll watch Donald Duck on TV, as we always do here on Christmas! Woooo!

I got (among other things) Pokemon plushies for Christmas! Cobalion, Terrakion and Virizion! Yay! And a Maggot plushie (Giant Microbes) too! ...Do I like weird things?!

Tonight we welcome the four horsemen of the apocalypse as they arrive to... Uhm, what are they going to do, anyway? I was just making this up right now.

...What's this you're saying? You don't believe in the Apocalypse? Well, me neither, honestly! I just thought that it would be fun to wish everyone a Happy Apocalypse...

Today is November 25:th, (you see, I write my Journal entries waaay before I actually post them!) and I have already started writing little verses for the Christmas gifts... This is kinda like a little tradition in Sweden, but my mom says that it's not really that many people who are writing verses for the Christmas gifts... Well, honestly, I don't know. I still write them anyway, because I think it's fun!

Do you write little verses for the Christmas gifts in other countries too, or is this just something we do here in Sweden? The verses are usually supposed to give you a hint of what the gift might be, but the ones I write are most often just random verses about Christmas in general, or maybe even verses about writing these verses!

Also, we celebrate Christmas on Christmas Eve (December 24:th) here in Sweden, and not on Christmas Day. Is this unusual, or are there other countries where you celebrate Christmas on December 24:th too?

-*-*-*-*Continues typing on December 8th*-*-*-*-
Why didn't I post this? Maybe the internet connection didn't work properly that day? Maybe I had other things to do? Maybe I just forgot to post it? Or maybe I'm just lazy? ...Or it could be a combination of all of the above... Anyhow, enjoy a completely new Journal entry!

I need a bit of advice or help with something. I've bought a whole load of toy ponies (both My Little Pony and Fakies) to customise, and one of them has weird, brown spots on its bum. Now, I have read a bit about mold and cancer, but I have no idea what these spots could be! It feels like I have tried everything; chlorine, boiling the pony, T-Red (that's 95% denatured ethanol/alcohol, used as e.g. a solvent and stain remover)... But the spots won't go away! And I can't sandpaper them off (yes, I've tried that too)!

I'm wondering if this is cancer or mold (or maybe something else entirely). Do you people who read this think that these spots can grow bigger, or that it's contagious, so that the other ponies might catch the "spotty disease" from this little guy? And is there a way to remove them (preferrably without cutting the spotty areas off with a sharp knife)? Would it be bad to just paint the entire pony to cover the spots?

You can have a look at the pony and its spots here: fav.me/d5hvouj

Also, on a different note: I have a G3 Fakie with an open mouth. I want to turn it into something like that "Princess Rinse 'n Spit" Fakie, but I don't know what I should make its teeth of... I can't make them of Fimo clay, because I would destroy them when I remove them from its mouth again to bake them. I can't just paint some teeth, because you wouldn't be able to see them unless you stare right into the mouth. Gluing on some white paper doesn't seem right... I don't have any airdrying clay, and I won't bother getting some airdrying clay just because of this! Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Guess what came with the mail today? You can stop guessing (nobody seems to have guessed, though, as I got no comments at all), because here it is! (scroll down and look at my DeviantID) It's a vinyl record! First Visit! From 1985! I've wanted one of these since forever, and now I finally have one! *Evil grin*

I just won an auction on Tradera, the Swedish version of eBay! I'm not saying what it is, but you'll get to see a picture of the item as soon as I get it in the mail. If my DeviantID still is a picture of Sabaton autographs, then I haven't gotten this very important item yet........

I'm so darn happy, I can't even come up with much more to write here... I've wanted one of these things for well over a year, and now I'm finally getting one! And it's in near mint condition, too! Until the item arrives, I'll just sit by the computer and make the same facial expression that my dad makes when he's watching TV. *staring off into the distance*.......*drools*

Can anyone guess what this very special item is, before it shows up in the mail and I upload a picture of it? C'mon, guess! :D OK, one clue: This item is older than I am, and I was born in the early 90's. That's a lot of useful clues, right?!

I was at Metaltown (which is a heavy metal festival) yesterday, where I watched a whole lot of concerts, including the bands in this journal's title. And because I saw both Anthrax and Slayer, this means that I have seen three fourths of The Big Four now (I saw a Megadeth concert three years ago, but I haven't seen a Metallica concert yet)!

However, the best thing was Sabaton, who were the main reason that I went to Metaltown! I have seen them twice before, and their concerts just get better and better! I got their autographs as well, which you can see if you scroll down a bit (I drew Jocke and the speech bubble myself). Jocke (who is their singer) wrote the text in the speech bubble, and it translates as something like "Cheers to you heavy metal-bastards!"

And also, you know how mice can cram themselves through really small places? Seems like I can do almost the same thing with my hands, except that instead of getting them inside small places, I can remove Metaltown wrist bands without having to cut them off, even if they are ridiculously tight. Is this like my superpower or something? Because I have no freaking idea how I managed to do this without either tearing the wrist band apart or breaking the bones in my own hand...

This was a great opportunity for me to try out my new camera (read: filming Freedom Call for almost 1½ hour)!

They played the song "Farewell"! It's one of my favourites! ...The only thing that could have made everything more perfect now would be if I could watch a Rogue Male concert as well, but I don't think that's going to happen anytime soon (I don't think they'll come to Sweden anytime soon, anyway)

I don't even know what more to write now *rolls on the floor because I'm so happy*

Happy Friday 13:th!!! ...I read somewhere that it's a really rare thing if there are three Friday 13:s in the same year, so I guess this will be a lucky year then...

I made a figure of Fimo clay today, and I will upload it here soon. I made the Smiledog figure on the first Friday 13:th this year (January), and I think that must have been a lucky thing, because it is my most popular Deviation as of now! (number of favourites and views compared to my other ones)

The next Friday 13:th will be in July, just so you all know if you haven't looked that up already. Now you all know that I, RoguesAndGhosts, will be making a clay figure on that day! (this is *so* important to know, right?)

Also, I defragmented my computer today, and that took about... Oh, only 8 hours or so... Woooooo...

YEEEEEEAAAAAHHHH!!!!! I'm finally getting away from here! HOOOOOOORAAAAYYYY!!! Living here in this apartment building can make you seriously mad, as you can hear *everything* your neighbors are doing! I can even hear when they walk around in their apartments! And also, my neighbors like to slam their doors and shout when they are by the stairs (where it echoes a lot), and this makes my guard dog angry! So my dog is probably looking forward to moving away from here as well!

Happy 29:th of February, everyone! This doesn't occur every day, right? I do a lot of things today just because I want it to read "February 29" on them. Am I a weirdo for this? :3 I caught two Pokemon today (one in Pokemon Black and one in White) just so I can have a pair of Pokemon that were caught on February 29:th. Wooohoooo, verrry interesting! Right?

I think we should celebrate the 29:th of February. I don't know how, but I think we should! I think February 29:th deserves more attention. I mean, it only occurs every 4:th year!

I'm kinda annoyed... at the weather. Yes, it's February, and it's kinda cold according to the thermometer, but then why does my Fimo clay get mushy and behave as if it was summer right now?! Well, I have two guesses:
1. The sun shines right through the window in the living room, raising the temperature in there, or...
2. My hands get too warm as I wash them before starting to sculpt stuff (I wash them with the water on the highest possible temperature, so that they almost get boiled)

Very funny... The Fimo Soft clay is too mushy in the summer and OK to work with in the autumn/spring, but why does it get mushy again in the winter? The Fimo Doll clay behaves more logically, as it is OK to sculpt with in the summer, almost too hard in the autumn/spring and completely impossible to use in the winter (like trying to knead a hard piece of plastic).

Why does this happen?! And why is the white clay more mushy than, say, the skin-colored one? I don't wanna have to wait several months for the rainy, cloudy spring just to be able to sculpt again! ...But I'm too tired and uninspired to try sculpting something today (21:st of February)... I'll just stick to playing video games and looking at my meat-eating plants for now... Who knew that you can buy a Venus Flytrap at IKEA?! I bought one from there yesterday, so the one I had since before has gotten a new friend!
