I don't know why it's been so long since last time I uploaded something... Lack of motivation? Lots of things to do? Lots of things to think of? I won't talk about this so much that the entire world will know what's going on in my life, so let's just move on to the beautiful antelope.
This is... Probably a stuffed baby antelope. The person who sold it to me seemed to think that it was some figure that just happened to be covered with real animal skin, but the skin looks like it could be from a whole (very young) antelope or similar animal. The horns are fake, though, and he/she doesn't have any hooves. I'm guessing this antelope could possibly be quite old (as in the stuffed antelope, not the animal itself, obviously). It just has that "scary vintage stuffed animal in a bookshelf"-look to it. And for some reason, the mouth and nostrils are painted pink...
Well, that's my psychotic antelope with horns that are pointing in the wrong direction. When I found it on Tradera, the thumbnail picture for the auction was a huge closeup of its face! The angle in the photo made it look like the antelope had taken a bad self-portrait (I refuse to use that popular word) with a phone or something.
Very cute! I have some other figures made with rabbit fur just like that one, but the ones I have don't look that ferocious... They are more "friendly" animals, like cats and owls and such. I think of them as almost taxidermy!
