From Cool ape. Lost the most recent file so I had to redo some stuff. Immediatly fixed up a few sketches that didn't work well and added a bonus joke. Thanks to ultra for the suggestions.
Part 2:
A knuckles production: Nothing to do with SATam but little jab at Sonic triple trouble. Hey, it's still 90's Sonic. Can't believe I didn't make this observation back when I did the full Triple trouble parody.
Sonic's solution to problems: I know what you're saying. Roger, the sketch was really boring and predictable. Well yeah, that's the point. That's exactly how it feels to watch these "action scenes" in Season 1. This is a typical cartoon issue, most episodes only have room for one real action scene, at the climax. Every other problem the heroes encounter is just a pointless encounter to set up a commercial cliffhanger.
As a result, they spent a full 1 minute showing us how desperate and scary the situation is , and after the commercial is over, we see the hero deal with the problem in 10 seconds.
You might not notice it when you watch only one episode a week, with the commercials included, but watch several episodes in one sitting without interuptions, and you notice how often we get a "Oh no! A MONSTER!!" sequence, ending with Sonic just shrugging and running off. Sure, running is Sonic's thing, and the strategy always works, so I can't blame him.
But why Robotnik always designs deathtraps that can only be beaten by running really fast really baffles me. I think there's 2 episodes where Robotnik specifically designed a trap that only works when Sonic runs, including a rocketlauncher that always hits Sonic as soon as he runs. Of course he never used it after it worked perfectly for one episode. And now, right up at the big final confrontation in the final episode, Robontik always has traps that Sonic can defeat by running fast. Urghh..
The big epic showdown of Robotnik I've been looking forward since episode 1, and it ends up being a stupid tube where Sonic just runs away from.
Rotor is awesome: He is.
The other freedom fighters: Hey, remember when I said season 1 had great use of red shirts? Well, Season 2 doesn't.
I really HATE the final episode of SAT am. And I'm not referring to the cliffhanger. The whole episode sucks. After building the other freedom fighters like Arie and the wolves up for several episodes, they're immediatly arrested, powerhouse characters like Bunny barely have a cameo, Robotnik's final showdown is laughable, the climax with the powerstone is confusing, not to mention painfull deus ex machina ish. Ghah. But hey, at least there's plenty of WACKY and HILARIOUS Antoine antics. Cause we didn't get enough of that.
Oh no, Swatbots!: Our friends the swatbots again. This one confused me as hell when I was 10 years old. Which was back in season 1, let alone how painfull this trope is in season 2.
One moment we see Sonic destroy 500 swatbots with one lame pun, the next moment they're all " OMG SWATBOTS WE MUST RUN!!!!"
Why? I just saw Sonic destroy 50 swatbots by just holding up a mirror. Do it again! In season 2, Sonic can turn into a giant tornado to take out entire armies of the damn things. And I'm still supposed to be on the edge of my seat if a single Swatbot politely asks Sonic to surrender himself for 10 minutes straight?

Man, I love how Rotor used Robotnik as a can opener! LOL
